Born in 1993, Philippe Hatatt began his musical studies at the age of eight at the Levallois-Perret Conservatory, and his piano lessons in 2003 at the Rayonnement Régional Conservatory in Paris with Chantal Fraysse and Emmanuel Mercier, completing a baccalauréat in literature. In September 2011 he joined the Paris Conservatory of Higher Education, graduating in piano with a master's degree in piano accompaniment (classes of Jean-François Heisser and Jean-Frédéric Neuburger); in September 2013 he specialised in composition with Jean-François Zygel, following classes of counterpoint with Pierre Pincemaille). In June 2014, Philippe completed the Master of Accompaniment with a mention and in September of the same year he obtained a Master in Chamber Music at the CNSM in the class of Itamar Golan, in a trio with François Pineau-Benois (violin) and Nil Kocamangil (cello). His professional experience is already considerable. Solo concerts: Les Nuits musicales festival in Pisa; Musique au moulin (Moulin d'Andé); Musique et Terroir festival in Caunes-Minervois; Le Brulhois musical festival; regular participation in the Heure musicale au Marais in Paris. Chamber music: Journées Ravel (Monfort-l'Amaury); festival Musiques sur Ciel (Cordes-sur-Ciel); festival Moments musicaux de Chalosse; Printemps de l'Académie Maurice Ravel (Saint-Jean-de-Luz); Gümüşlük Klasik Müzik Festivali (Turkey) to mention a few. With orchestra: Festival Les Estivales en Puisaye-Forterre at the Castle of Saint-Fargeau, with the Czech Chamber Orchestra Camerata Bohemia (conductor: Rémi Gousseau); concerts with the Orchestra del Bel'Arte. Philippe is also a composer (former pupil of Michel Merlet at Levallois-Perret from 2005 to 2011), harpsichordist and organist since 2008 with Benjamin Steens as well as cellist. Last October he was admitted to Pierre Pincemaille's improvisation class at the CRR in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. His musical horizon has expanded to medieval music (Gregorian chant, improvised vocal polyphony) and ethnomusicology (central Java gamelan, Georgian vocal polyphony with Simha Arom, etc.).

In addition to his musical activity, he is also interested in natural sciences, humanities and philosophy, with a clear preference for comparative linguistics.
