pianoforte, Lorène de Ratuld
Soloist, chamber musician, Lorène de Ratuld is a pianist passionate about unusual repertoires and modern music. Born in 1979, Lorène joined the CNSM in Paris in the class of Brigitte Engerer in 1996 and received the Prix de Piano in 2000. She continued her piano studies with Jean-François Heisser in the specialization cycle, obtaining the Chamber Music Prize in the class of Christian Ivaldi in 2002. She is also interested in vocal accompaniment, collaborating with Anne Grappotte. As a chamber musician or soloist, Lorène de Ratuld performs in the main Parisian venues: Gaveau, Cortot, Cité de la Musique, Musée de l'Armée des Invalides, BNF, Archives Nationales. She is guest of important festivals: Frédéric Chopin International Meetings, Fêtes Romantiques de Nohant, Orangerie de Sceaux, Matinales d'Arles, Piano à Auxerre, Piano en Saintonge, Festival Georges Cziffra, Serres d'Auteuil, Piano en Valois, Journées Ravel à Montfort L'Amaury, Les Musicales de Mortagne, Festival Pianokosmos... Abroad, she performs at the Salzburg Festival, the Ruhr Festival, the Midis-Minimes in Belgium, the Chopin-gesellschaft in Darmstadt, the modern festival in Cluj in Romania, to name a few. She is currently working on the piano four-hands repertoire with pianist Sophie Dumont. In 2006 she received the "Coup de Cœur" from the Charles Cros Academy for her recording.
